She rolled from back to front last month, so I suppose she’s on her way to being ‘mobile’! Yikes! According to babycenter.com and a few other sites I visited, the average age for this is 4-6 months, she is 3 months (2 months when she went back to front), so maybe we have an overachiever on our hands, who knows?! Every baby is different.
She is a pro at scooting, too! It’s always so funny to me to go into her room to wake her in the morning and she’s facing the opposite side of the crib than how I had laid her the night before. I have really enjoyed the time where I could lay her down on the bed and know that she’s not going to scoot or roll off, but that time has come to an end and her new adventures are about to begin. Her daddy is very excited that she is becoming more mobile! This morning when I went to get her up she was so sweet just lying there (the opposite way or course) sucking on her two middle fingers. I always talk to her when I get her up and this morning I was telling her how silly she was to spin around and face the other way when she was supposed to be sleeping…she just smiled and laughed for me! I love these little moments.
she's so stinkin smart!
